Mission Patch Fun Facts:
The MIMI mission patch was designed by our Project Manager, Roberto Nieves, and edited by our Geological Investigator, Simon Mendenhall.
Roberto designed the patch to represent the origin of the team and the value that the mission stands for. There are 9 stars representing the 9th team in the L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy for Summer 2020. The blue triangle and red orbit create an “A” for Abeona, the Goddess of Outward Journeys. The rising Sun represents the members of Abeona-9 as the future generation of space industry professionals. Marvin the rover is depicted conducting its science mission on Mars.
